What You'll Do:

Assist with planning and leading meaningful activities that support cognitive, emotional, and social well-being for residents with dementia.
Engage residents through group and one-on-one activities such as music, art, sensory experiences, and gentle movement.
Encourage participation while respecting individual abilities, preferences, and dignity
Observe resident responses during activities and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.
Help set up, adapt, and clean up activities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Collaborate with the Activity Director and care staff to enhance the quality of life for memory care residents.

What You'll Need:

High school diploma or equivalent. (required)
Must be 18 years of age or older. (required)
Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English. (required)
Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with residents, families, visitors, and team members. (required)
Energetic, self-motivated team player comfortable working in a memory care setting, able to manage dementia-related behaviors, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. (required)
Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English. (required)
Experience working with seniors. (preferred)
